What is Velvet?
Velvet is your personal space for fashion. Discover looks, see them on you, make them yours, and share them with people you trust.
Do I need to be shopping to use Velvet?
No. Explore what people are wearing, save an idea for later, or use Velvet to work out what to wear today. Buying something is always your choice.
What is Studio?
Studio is where you shape a Look into your own. Start with an outfit, an occasion, or a piece from your wardrobe, then change and combine pieces until it feels right.
Can I try on a complete look?
Yes. You can try individual pieces or explore how a full outfit looks on your Digital Double.
Is a try-on an exact fit preview?
No. A try-on is a visual preview to help you imagine how you might wear a piece or look. It cannot guarantee size, fit, fabric, or color. Check the retailer's product details before buying.
Do I need to add my whole wardrobe?
No. Start with a few pieces you wear often, or add something when it becomes useful. Your wardrobe can grow over time.
Can I ask a friend for a second opinion?
Yes. Share a Look or put two options side by side and ask someone whose taste you trust. A shared Look can also be saved or remixed by the person receiving it.
What happens to my photos?
Photos are used to provide features such as your Digital Double and try-on. Velvet does not sell your photos or use them to train AI models. Details about storage and processing are in the Privacy Policy
Who can use Velvet?
Velvet is intended for people aged 13 or older, and 16 or older in the EU and EEA.
How do I get Velvet or contact the team?
Velvet is available for iPhone on the App Store. For general questions, write to info@velvet-ai.app.
